Niki receivers’ first Embraer 190 jet

AUSTRIA : Embraer delivered the first EMBRAER 190 jet to Austria’s NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH, today, at the Company’s headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The aircraft will serve the airline’s European network, operating from Vienna and Innsbruck, in Austria, and NIKI plans to debut the E-Jet on new intra-European routes. The deal was announced in Jul- 2008, during the UK’s Farnborough Airshow, and includes firm orders for five EMBRAER 190s, plus five purchase rights.

AUSTRIA : Austria’s low-cost airline will be the first to fly the E-Jets with all-new “slim seats”. Mauro Kern, Embraer Executive Vice President, Airline market said, “NIKI’s decision to select the EMBRAER 190 to complement its existing fleet of narrowbody jets is great news, indeed.
