Skymark announces FY07 traffic result; passenger up 26%, load factor 77.2%14-Apr-2008JAPAN : Skymark Airlines announced traffic results for FY07, with total passenger numbers up by 26% to 3.68 million from 2.91 million the year before. Load factor rose significantly from 63.7% to 77.2%, indicating that the airline has recovered from a fall in traffic which started from March 2006 when Skymark’s safety structure was questioned after a series of maintenance irregularities. The results also indicate that Skymark’s low pricing strategy has been generally successful.
