UNITED KINGDOM : Monarch Airlines announced (05-Nov-08) services have been added to Ibiza to its scheduled Summer flying programme for 2009. The flights, which are available to book and will start flying on 21-May-09 and operate until 05-Oct-09.

Monarch Airlines announces Winter 08/09 Gatwick schedule launch

UNITED KINGDOM : Monarch Airlines has announced the launch of its Winter 2008/2009 schedule from London Gatwick Airport. The schedule, which is on sale now, includes 500,000 seats to the Canary Islands of Tenerife and Lanzarote, additional services to Murcia and the first Winter operation on the Larnaca route.

Monarch expands its onboard recycling programme

UNITED KINGDOM : Following the successful launch of its full onboard recycling programme on Gatwick flights in October, Monarch is extending the initiative to include all flights operating into Birmingham International Airport. The extension of the scheme will mean that all aluminium, plastic, glass and paper used during these flights will now be recycled after landing.
