Jetstar announced it is launching a new website, Jetstar.com/familytravel, entirely dedicated to family travel, with specialised information and tips for travelling with children.
The website will host a range of information and services including:
· What to expect when flying;
· Holiday ideas;
· Competitions;
· Tips for expecting mothers;
· Advice on what to do when you arrive at your destination.
Jetstar Chief Executive Officer, Alan Joyce, said the airline wanted to create a website that helps parents, families and children to become even more informed when planning and organising their holiday.
A key feature of the website is the universal packing list which allows parents to itemise the essential items a family may need for a short or long holiday break, as well as producing a handy ‘reminder itinerary’ for the family getaway.
Jetstar’s new family how-to website will assist the internet savvy, time poor households keen on finding family friendly destinations quickly and easily online.
