ELFAA welcomes Jet2.com as a new airline member

The European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA) announced that Jet2.com will be joining ELFAA, becoming the 12th airline member of the Association.
John Hanlon, Secretary General of ELFAA, said “We are delighted to welcome Jet2.com as an airline member. From start up of a low fare model in 2003, the successful Jet2.com has been such that they have rapidly grown to carry some 4 million passengers in 2007 across the UK and Europe, utilising 30 of the most environmentally-efficient aircraft.”
Jet2.com is headquartered at Leeds Bradford International Airport and operates from its UK hubs at Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh, Leeds-Bradford and Newcastle to 34 destinations in the UK and 12 European countries.
ELFAA airline members include: clickair, easyJet, Flybe, Myair.com, Norwegian, Ryanair,
Sky Europe, Sterling, Sverige Flyg, transavia.com, Wizz Air.
ELFAA members carried over 120 Million passengers in 2007, using a combined fleet of 500 aircraft. Low Fares Airlines constitute some 30% of scheduled intra-European traffic.
