Monarch resumes services between Manchester and Gibraltar
Monarch Airlines announced plans to re-launch services between Manchester and Gibraltar, with a three times weekly service commencing on 12-Sep-08. The route was withdrawn in Jul-06.

Commenting on the re-launch of service, Monarch MD of Scheduled Services Liz Savage, stated, “We are delighted to be bringing direct services to Gibraltar back to the Northwest which will operate in addition to our ongoing services from Luton. There continues to be huge demand for flights from our customers, and this has been reflected by the number of requests that we have received from them over the past few years.
