FlyYeti.com takes off for Doha

FlyYeti.com, Nepal’s first low-cost carrier (LCC), launched non-stop service between Kathmandu, the carrier’s global hub, and Doha, Qatar’s capital. The airline, which will provide service between the two cities five times per week, recently commenced service to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

The Inaugural flight landed in Doha Airport on April 2nd , 2008 and was received by the officials from Qatar and FlyYeti.com. On Mondays Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, flights will depart Kathmandu at 07:45AM and arrive in Doha at 09:50AM. Return flights will depart Doha at 10:35AM and arrive in Kathmandu at 17:50AM.

FlyYeti.com was launched on January 20, 2008, in Kathmandu – Nepal’s first LCC and Air Arabia’s second hub with the aim of providing affordable and convenient service to a broad range of international destinations across South and Central Asia, the Far East, the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. The carrier expects to announce the launch of service to a range of new destinations in these markets in the near future.

FlyYeti.com is a joint venture between Air Arabia and Yeti Airlines, a leading domestic carrier in Nepal. Air Arabia is applying its successful low-cost business model to the management and operation of FlyYeti.com.
