AirAsia launches new international route from Jakarta to Kuching
AirAsia officially launched of its new international route, a three times weekly service from Jakarta to Kuching on 09-Apr-08.
The Kuching hub serves seven domestic routes to Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Bintulu, Sibu and three international flights to Macau, Bali and now Jakarta with a total of 163 flights per week. Commencing 15-May-08, AirAsia will start introducing daily flights to Macau and Penang.
To celebrate the launch of the new route, AirAsia also announced it will introduce introductory fares from RM9.99 for the booking period from 01-Apr-08 to 13-Apr-08 for the travel period from 08-Apr-08 to 10-Jun-08.
