SkyEurope reports record number of passengers in Vienna and Prague in Mar-08

SkyEurope reported it transported record number of passengers of 307,540 passengers in Vienna and Prague, in Mar-08, representing an increase of 16.2% year-on-year. SkyEurope recorded a load factor of 73.6% due to a 38.6% increase in seat capacity. SkyEurope stated the increase in seat capacity has been accomplished by better utilisation of its new larger 737-700NG aircraft.

 

Meanwhile, in the 12 months ended Mar-08, SkyEurope stated it carried over 3.7 million passengers, an increase of 26.3% year-on-year. The load factor in the past 12 months decreased by 1.7 ppts to reached 76.1%.
