Pacific Blue expands domestic route network
New Zealand carrier, Pacific Blue, announced the expansion of its New Zealand domestic route network with the launch of a direct daily Christchurch-Dunedin service, commencing 01-Jul-08. Pacific Blue also announced plans to launch a special fares promotion to celebrate the addition of Dunedin to its network.

 

The expansion is part of the carrier’s ongoing growth strategy, which includes taking delivery of a new 180 seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft in late Jun-08, bringing the carrier’s fleet total to seven aircraft.

Meanwhile, special fares on the Christchurch–Dunedin route will start at NZD39 one-way, available from 02-Apr-08 to 07-Apr-08, for travel from 01-Jul-08 to 31-Aug-08. Wellington–Dunedin (via Christchurch) sale fares will start at NZD69 one-way. Auckland–Dunedin (via Christchurch) sale fare will start at NZD79 one-way.
