Air Berlin: Condor acquisition deadline extended by the Federal Cartel Office until 09-Jun-08

Air Berlin PLC announced the deadline for its acquisition of Condor Flugdienst GmbH has been further extended by the Federal Cartel Office, the German Bundeskartellamt. The Federal Cartel Office extended the deadline for completion of Air Berlin’s primary evaluation process by two months until 09-Jun-08. Discussions between Air Berlin, Thomas Cook and the Federal Cartel Office regarding the acquisition are continuing.
