AirAsia launches 50,000 free seats for all domestic destinations
AirAsia announced the launch of its ‘Free Seats’ campaign. AirAsia will be giving away 50,000 free seats for all its domestic destinations from all its four hubs of LCC Terminal (Kuala Lumpur), Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Johor Bahru. The ‘Free Seats’ campaign will be available from 18-Mar-08 to 21-Mar-08, for travel from 11-Jun-08 to 25-Sep-08.

 

From its LCC Terminal hub, AirAsia will offer free seats to 14 destintions including Alor Star, Bintulu, Johor Bahru, Kota Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Labuan, Langkawi, Miri, Penang, Sibu, Sandakan, Tawau and Terengganu. From its Johor Bahru hub, the free seats will be available on services to Miri, Penang, Sibu and Kota Kinabalu. 

From its East Malaysia hubs, Kuching, the carrier operates to Bintulu, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Penang and Sibu, while Kota Kinabalu hub services Miri, Penang, Sandakan and Tawau. 

AirAsia’s Executive Vice President – Commercial, Kathleen Tan, said “The free seats campaign is part of our anticipation towards achieving the 50 million guests flown to date by June this year. Looking back at six (6) years ago, we started flying 200,000 guests with just two (2) aircraft and today, the People’s Airline has made it possible for everyone to fly with our super low fares and signature free seats campaigns on our fleet of 67 aircraft, servicing 93 routes across 11 countries.”
