Jetstar commences extra services between Melbourne-Hobart and Melbourne-Sunshine Coast
Jetstar announced it has commenced extra services from Melbourne to Hobart and the Sunshine Coast. Jetstar’s existing Melbourne-Hobart services will expand from four to five times daily, whilst its existing Melbourne-Sunshine Coast operations will increase to three times daily, up from double daily. The new services will be operated by Jetstar’s fleet of A320s.

 

Jetstar Chief Executive Officer, Alan Joyce, said “Jetstar’s latest expansion of its domestic operations at Melbourne Airport will see the airline offer almost 200 weekly return services from April this year, with additional flights from Melbourne to Cairns and the Gold Coast also to be introduced in the immediate future.

Fares on Jetstar’s Melbourne-Hobart route starts from AUD69 one way and from AUD99 one way between Melbourne-Sunshine Coast.
