AirAsia celebrates Kuala Lumpur-Yogyakarta high load factor by announcing direct daily flight
AirAsia has celebrated its high load factor of 75% on its Kuala Lumpur †Yogyakarta route, for Feb-08, by announcing the commencement of AirAsia’s direct daily service to Yogyakarta from 15-Apr-08. The achievement comes a month after commencing its direct service to Yogyakarta on 30-Jan-08.

 

Yogyakarta is AirAsia’s 13th destination in Indonesia, which also include: Bali, Balikpapan, Banda Aceh, Bandung, Batam, Jakarta, Medan, Padang, Palembang, Pekan Baru, Solo and Surabaya.

AirAsia currently serves the route with four weekly services on AirAsia’s 180-seater Airbus A320. The carrier currently offers 367 flights a week to Indonesia.

Meanwhile, AirAsia has carried over 3.8 million passengers between 24-Apr-04 and Feb-08 to Indonesia.

In addition, AirAsia’s other route network expansions in Indonesia include daily services to Medan and Jakarta from Penang, four times weekly services from Pekan Baru to Kuala Lumpur, four times weekly services from Jakarta to Kuching, four times weekly service from Jakarta to Kota Kinabalu, three times weekly service from Johor Bahru to Medan and also to Surabaya.
