Air Berlin to slash FY guidance on rising fuel prices

(XFN Asia) Air Berlin Plc will reportedly announce at the end of Mar-08 it is cutting its full-year 2008 guidance due to rising fuel prices.

 

Air Berlin stated it expects to reach earnings before interest and tax of EUR140-160 million in 2008.

Meanwhile, shares in Air Berlin dropped by 12% on the back of reports of a profit warning at the German airline and a steep target price cut at Exane BNP Paribas.
