Air Berlin’s FY07 net profit declines due to LTU integration costs
(XFN Asia) Air Berlin PLC stated its full year 2007 net profit have declined to EUR11 million, compared with EUR50.1 million the year earlier due to one-off costs linked with delays in the LTU integration.

Air Berlin’s EBIT fell to EUR21.5 million from EUR64.2 million, year-on-year, while sales increased to EUR2.54 billion from EUR1.58 billion. Meanwhile, the company's third quarter results, already within a double-digit million euro range figure, would be booked due to delays in the LTU integration and technical problems in merging the two company's electronic data processing systems.

The carrier is scheduled to release details of its 2007 results at its annual results news conference on 31-Mar-08.
