Air Berlin makes changes to Board

Air Berlin announced that Dr. Eckhard Cordes will be relinquishing his seat on the Board of Directors at Air Berlin PLC on account of the dual positions he holds as Chief Executive Officer of both the Haniel and Metro Groups.

 

Meanwhile, Heinz-Peter Schlüter, CEO of Trimet Aluminium AG, and Friedrich Carl Janssen, general partner of Cologne-based banking firm, Sal. Oppenheim, will be joining the Board of Directors.

Other Non-Executive Directors are Johannes Zurnieden (Chairman), Dr. Hans-Joachim Körber, Nicholas Teller and Claus Wülfers.
