WestJet announces record February load factor of 82.8%

WestJet announced Feb-08 traffic results with a record load factor of 82.8%. This was accompanied by a capacity increase of 18.2%, and an improvement in revenue passenger miles of 19.0%.

 

"Our February load factor of 82.8% marks 14 consecutive months of record load factor. Our seasonal capacity deployment strategy, strong sales for WestJet Vacations, growing network connectivity and continued focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience are key factors in WestJet's leading, and continually improving, performance," said Sean Durfy, WestJet President and CEO.
