Skymark Airlines extends discount fares for May

Skymark Airlines has notified the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on 29-Feb-08 of its extended discount fare plans for May-08.

 

From April, Skymark is reducing normal fares on its Fukuoka and Sapporo route from Haneda, as well as setting a bargain fare for its new Haneda-Asahikawa service, which they will launch on 25-Apr-08. Skymark will continue with this fare plan into May.

Meanwhile, other carriers are taking counter measures to Skymark’s strategy, including discounting 28-day advance purchase fares. For example, Air Do, is responding to Skymark Airlines’ 10,000-yen fare on the Haneda-Asahikawa route with an advance purchase discount fare of 9,500 yen.
