Sama Airlines enters MRO agreement with Alsalam Aircraft

Sama announced it has entered into a MRO agreement with Riyadh based, Alsalam Aircraft, covering a package of heavy aircraft maintenance checks.

 

Sama currently has a fleet of six Boeing 737-300 aircraft as well as a JetStream for the operation of regional services. The carrier plans to increase its fleet to 30-35 aircraft by 2010.

Sama’s domestic route network includes: Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Abha, Jizan, Hail, Arar, Jouf, Tabouk, and Rafha. The carrier also operates eight international routes across the Middle East, including: Abu-Dhabi, Sharjah, Amman, Damascus, Latakia, Aleppo, Beirut, and Alexandira.
