CEB offers direct Cebu-Macau and Manila-Kaohsiung service from USD25
Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced plans to operate a direct service from Cebu to Macau with an introductory fare offer from USD25 one-way. The Cebu-Macau seat sale will run from 20-25-Feb-08 for travel from 5-Apr to 30-Jun-08.

 

The direct Cebu-Macau service will initially be a twice weekly evening service but will become a four-times weekly day-time service commencing on 5-May-08.

The carrier explained that its will also offer a four-times weekly Davao-Macau service as a domestic to international connection via Cebu.

In announcing the route expansion, CEB President and CEO, Lance Gokongwei, said “Macau is the seventh international destination we will operate directly from Cebu. This will allow us to provide more options for our guests who may also opt to visit Macau and return to Cebu via Hong Kong. This new offering shows our commitment to further strengthen our Cebu hub operation.”

Meanwhile, CEB also announced plans to launch a direct Manila-Kaohsiung, three time weekly service from 7-Jun-08. The new route is also being introduced with a promotional fare of USD25 one-way for travel from 7-Jun to 31-Aug-08, exclusive of government taxes and surcharges.

CEB is the only Philippine carrier operating this route. Kaohsiung is the second city CEB will operate to in Taiwan. CEB currently operates a daily service to Taipei from Manila and a three times weekly service from Cebu to Taipei.

After the seat sale, fares on both new services will start from USD37 one way, exclusive of taxes and surcharges.
