Cebu Pacific adds frequency to Manila-Puerto Princesa and Manila-Zamboanga services
Cebu Pacific announced plans to add frequency to its Manila-Puerto Princesa service from 08-May-08 and on its Manila-Zamboanga route, beginning 06-Jun-08.

Cebu Pacific will expand its Manila-Puerto Princesa frequency from ten times weekly to twice daily, translating to a 32% increase in capacity.  The additional services will utilise the airline’s A319 aircraft.

The airline will also increase its seven times weekly Manila-Zamboanga service to ten times weekly. The additional services will use Cebu Pacific’s 150-seat A319 aircraft.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Product, said, “We are very happy to mount additional flights to Puerto Princesa and Zamboanga because we feel that we can further stimulate travel to these two fast developing cities. We hope to encourage more business and leisure travellers to visit these islands with increased accessibility and our trademark low fares.”

Cebu Pacific’s passenger carriage in 2007 reached almost 5.5 million passengers with an average passenger load factor of 82%. Ms Iyog added, “The added domestic and international frequencies, new routes, and opening of new destinations will help us achieve our target of carrying more than 7 million passengers this year.”
