WestJet adds Toronto-Quebec City service in May-08 |

The announcement of the new destination is part of WestJet's enhanced Summer schedule which also includes new seasonal service between Regina-Toronto, Saskatoon-Toronto and Abbotsford-Toronto, as well as between Ottawa-Edmonton and Ottawa-Halifax.
Bob Cummings, WestJet's Executive Vice-President Guest Experience and Marketing said, "2007 has been a tremendous year of growth at WestJet, and we would like to thank Canadians for their continued support. Our market research shows that over 90 per cent of guests who try WestJet become repeat guests and recommend us to their friends and associates.
Starting 18-May-08, the airline will launch new seasonal service between the following cities:
• Toronto-Quebec City: Daily;
• Toronto-Regina: Daily;
• Toronto-Saskatoon: Daily;
• Toronto-Abbostford: Daily;
• Edmonton-Ottawa: Daily;
• Halifax-Ottawa: Daily.
From 18-May-08, WestJet will also increase the number of departures in its existing route network. Enhanced summer routes include:
• Toronto-Victoria: Daily, to twice daily in Jul-08 and Aug-08;
• Toronto-Vancouver: eight times daily;
• Toronto-Edmonton: six times daily;
• Toronto-Charlottetown: daily to twice daily in Jul-08 and Aug-08;
• Toronto-Moncton: twice daily;
• Toronto-Saint John: six times weekly;
• Toronto-Deer Lakes: seasonal six times weekly;
• Montreal-Halifax: six times weekly;
• Calgary-Ottawa: three times daily in Jul-08 and Aug-08;
Twice daily service between Toronto-Las Vegas, which commenced service in Oct-07, will continue throughout the Summer, as will Toronto-Los Angeles service, which began in Dec-07. Service to Puerto Plata and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic will be extended to year-round departing weekly from Toronto.
