Jeju Air orders five B737-800 aircraft
(c) Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation Premium: The Boeing Company announced that South Korea-based Jeju Air has ordered five B737-800s to meet future growth plans. The new aircraft are valued at USD370 million at list prices.

 

The B737s will be the first Boeing aircraft to enter the Jeju Air fleet. The airline currently operates five turboprops of smaller capacity.

Jeju Air stated, "the B737-800 aircraft exactly matches our long term growth requirements for our routes within Korea domestically and to Japan, China and other Asia Pacific regions”.
