Cebu Pacific to launch second daily Manila-Singapore service
(c) Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation Premium: Cebu Pacific announced plans to launch a second daily Manila-Singapore service, starting on 05-Jun-08, in response to the growing passenger demand on the route. The airline will use its 179-seat A320 aircraft on the route.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Product, said, "Our high loads for this route has driven us to add another frequency and at the same time provide a convenient schedule for both business and leisure travellers."

Ms Iyog added, “We are also very happy to serve the growing market for Filipino workers in Singapore who can now come home to the Philippines more frequently because of Cebu Pacific’s trademark low fares."

Cebu Pacific will have the most number of direct services to Singapore from the Philippines than any other Filipino carrier with 14 weekly services from Manila and five weekly services from Cebu.

Cebu Pacific also announced plans to operate direct to Singapore from Davao three-times weekly beginning 08-May-08.

Now in its 12th year, Cebu Pacific has the youngest fleet of aircraft in the Philippines. The LCC operates to 12 international and soon to be 21 domestic destinations with the addition of Boracay (Caticlan) beginning 29-Feb-08.
