Menzies Aviation wins Pacific Blue in New Zealand

(CAPA) Menzies Aviation announced it has been awarded the ground handling contract for passenger and ramp services, including dispatch, to handle all Pacific Blues services at its three locations in New Zealand.
The contract for services at Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch will commence on the
15-Nov-07.
In addition to current international services, Pacific Blue will operate 140 domestic services weekly to these three destinations using B737-700s and 800s, and are about to take delivery of a further two B737-800s to join the Pacific Blue fleet. The routes are tailored to suit the needs of the market in terms of frequency and schedule.
Pacific Blue has been operating for almost four years and is part of the Virgin Blue Group of
Airlines. It is committed to providing competitive fares for internal New Zealand flights in the same way it has done on the trans-Tasman and South Pacific routes.
