Cebu Pacific to add service to Taipei from Cebu and Davao; inaugurates Cebu-Cagayan de Oro and ManilaXiamen services

(CAPA) Cebu Pacific announced plans to commence CebuTaipei and Davao-Taipei (via Cebu) routes starting 14-Dec-07. Both services are scheduled to operate to Taipei Chiang Kai Shek International Airport three times weekly using 150-seat A319 aircraft.
Cebu Pacific is offering a USD10 seat sale for these new Taipei routes starting on 28-Sep-07 to 04-Oct-07, for travel between 14-Dec-07 and 31-Mar-08.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Product, said, “We are proud to be the only Philippine carrier to service these new routes to Taipei. With our trademark low fares, we hope to further stimulate tourism and business activities coming from Taipei for both the Visayas and Mindanao regions”.
The airline currently operates services to Singapore, Hong Kong, Busan and Incheon-Korea from Cebu. It also provides a Davao-Singapore and Davao-Hong Kong service (via Cebu).
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific commenced its three times weekly Cebu-Cagayan de Oro service on 27-Sep-07. The Cebu-Cagayan de Oro service is the LCCs ninth direct domestic service offered from its Cebu operations hub. Cebu Pacific also operates to Bacolod, Clark, Davao, Iloilo, Kalibo, Manila Puerto Princesa, and Zamboanga from Cebu. Internationally, Cebu Pacific offers direct services from Cebu to Hong Kong, Singapore, Pusan and Incheon, Korea.
Also on 27-Sep-07, the airline commenced its four times weekly Manila-Xiamen service. Xiamen is Cebu Pacific’s tenth international destination following the inauguration of daily Manila-Shanghai service two weeks ago.
