Air Berlin: new route to Munich
(CAPA) Air Berlin announced plans to open a new route from London Stansted to Munich on 05-Nov-07. The airline will operate twice daily from Monday to Friday and once on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Titus Johnson, Air Berlin Country Manager for UK and Ireland, said: "Munich is the ninth Air Berlin direct German destination from the United Kingdom and reinforces our position as the number 1 'value added' choice for travel to Germany. This is an important new route which many of our customers have been waiting for."

Air Berlin, founded in 1978, is now Europe’s third largest low-cost carrier. The LCC serves eight routes direct from Stansted to Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich, Munster, Nuremberg and Paderborn. And with links to other Air Berlin hubs, passengers can operate direct from Stansted onto the airlines large network, which operates over 350 daily services in more than 90 airports across Germany, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, United Kingdom and North Africa. Air Berlin currently carries over 20 million passengers a year.
