Cebu Pacific slashes year-round international fares by up to 50%
(CAPA) Cebu Pacific announced plans to reduce its year-round ‘Go fares for its international routes, beginning 14-Sep-07.

 

The lowest year-round fare for Manila-Guangzhou, Manila-Xiamen and Manila-Taipei was reduced by 50%, from approximately USD43 to as low as USD22 one-way. The Manila-Bangkok and Davao-Hong Kong fare now start from USD32, down from USD54.  The Manila-Hong Kong, Cebu-Hong Kong and Manila-Macau fare was marked down from USD43 to USD32.

The Manila-Jakarta, Manila-Shanghai and Davao-Singapore fare was reduced by 33%, from approximately USD64 to USD43. The one-way fare for Manila-Singapore and Cebu-Singapore was also reduced from approximately USD64 to USD43, a cut of 20%.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Product, stated, “Once again, we are doing an unprecedented reduction of our year-round ‘Go’ fares.  We want the public to realize that with our year-round lowest fares, travel has become very affordable.  You no longer have to wait for Christmas or summer to take that much needed vacation, whether internationally or domestically.”
 
Cebu Pacific reduced its domestic ‘Go’ fares by up to 65% in Jul-07.

“We have always been committed to providing the lowest fares for every Juan.  It is through this focused strategy that we were able to gain domestic leadership and we hope to replicate this internationally to Asia as well.”  Iyog explained.
