Cebu Pacific adds year round frequencies to major trunk routes
(CAPA) Cebu Pacific announced it will further add another year round frequency for its ManilaCagayan de Oro, ManilaDavao, and ManilaIloilo daily services, beginning 02-Nov-07.

The year round frequency increase to Cagayan de Oro and Iloilo is a more than 30% increase, while the additional frequency to Davao is a 25% increase in frequency.

Manila–Cagayan de Oro additional frequency will utilize a 179-seat A320 aircraft, and will increase service from three to four times daily. The frequency for Manila–Iloilo service will increase from three to four times daily, with an A320 aircraft to be used for this service.  Cebu’s 150-seat A319 aircraft will be used for the additional Manila–Davao frequency. With the additional frequency, Cebu will offer five times daily Manila-Davao service.

Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Product said, “We are increasing our year round frequencies to the major trunk routes because we see the growing demand for our year round low fares in these destinations. Iloilo, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro are very important local markets with their high potential to boost business and leisure tourism.”

Ms Iyog added that the airline’s move to add frequencies to these destinations is in line with the airline’s commitment to bring air travel closer to more Filipinos. She adds, “We are very happy that we will be able to provide more low fares with our increased frequencies.”
