(CAPA) GoAir airport counters across the country will offer free tickets to senior citizens (60 years and above) from August 8 onwards.
GoAir will fly them free to any of the carrier’s 11 destinations during the period 10 August – 31 August 2007. The tickets would need to be booked at least two days prior to the travel date. Only the taxes and surcharge must be paid by the passengers.
Mr. Jeh Wadia, Managing Director GoAir remarked, “Sixty years of Indian independence is a very special moment for all of us. On this occasion we pay tribute to the respected senior citizens of our country who have helped build India that we are all so proud of today.”
“Considering that 80% of the country’s senior citizens have never flown in their life, we at GoAir would love to give them this great opportunity to explore India.
