SpiceJet to launch twice daily Delhi-Kochi services
(CAPA): SpiceJet today announced its maiden flight service to Kochi. With the induction of two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, SpiceJet has introduced two daily flights between Delhi & Kochi.

The first flight to Kochi (via Bangalore) will start from 15th August 2007, commemorating 60th year of India’s independence, while the second direct flight between Delhi – Kochi is scheduled for 29th August 2007.

Mr. Siddhanta Sharma, CEO, stated "we are proud to be the first airline to start a double daily service to Kochi. The new service will provide a fantastic day return option between Delhi–Bangalore with an early departure from Delhi at 07:30 am and one of the last departures out of Bangalore at 08:10 pm." 

With two new aircraft SpiceJet’s fleet will increase to 13. Kochi will be the 15th destination on SpiceJet’s network.

SpiceJet operates to over 86 daily flights in 14 cities; Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jammu, Srinagar, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Goa and Varanasi.
