China's Okay Airways to lease ten MA60 aircraft from AVIC I for USD175.8 million Okay Airways said in a statement that the first of the MA60s will be deployed on domestic routes by the end of the year, with the rest to be delivered to the carrier within two years.
The MA60 plane, designed for short and medium-haul flights, is built by AVIC I unit Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co Ltd.
Okay Airways added that this is the first deal allowing MA60s to enter the domestic market. To date, AVIC I has signed agreements to export 36 MA60s to customers in nine countries including Zimbabwe, Zambia, Laos and the Republic of Congo.
