The new services will operate twice weekly between Huntsville International Airport and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, with services on Mondays and Fridays.

"This is an exciting day for Huntsville International Airport and the Tennessee Valley region," said Jeff Sikes, Chairman, Board of Directors, Huntsville International Airport. "The addition of Allegiant Air and the nonstop service to Las Vegas fills a void in our community for low-fare service and expands our total nonstop destinations to 14. We look forward to growing our new partnership with Allegiant and adding more destinations."

Through its Allegiant Vacations programme, the company will offer complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas.
