Cebu Pacific year-round fare to Bangkok, reduced to USD54 one-way
(CAPA) Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced plans to reduce its year-round ‘Go fare for its Manila-Bangkok route to USD54 from 12-Jul-07.

This is equivalent to a 17% fare reduction from the current lowest ‘Go’ fare offering of USD65. The reduced one-way fare is 70% less than the lowest airfare of other airlines for this route. Fares are exclusive of applicable government taxes and surcharges.

“We started service to Bangkok in early Dec-06 with four flights weekly and owing to the strong demand for seats, we recently increased our flights to daily. With the added capacity, we are now able to offer this reduction for our year-round fares.” Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Product.

The Manila-Bangkok service operates daily using CEB’s Airbus A319 aircraft.

Now in its 12th year, CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines at just over one year. CEB operates 14 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and soon to be 12 regional destinations with the addition of Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Macau in the next quarter.
