WestJet adds Prince George - Las Vegas route to its fall schedule
WestJet today announced it will introduce twice-weekly service from Prince George to Las Vegas for an 11-week trial period beginning September 10, 2011.
"This is definitely new for us," commented John MacLeod, WestJet Vice-President, Network Management and Alliances. "As we prepared for the annual fall transition of our fleet we had a window of additional flying time over an 11-week period. There is certainly demand for Las Vegas from Prince George and while we were not able to fit it in our winter schedule this year we are taking the opportunity to test the feasibility of this service. Based on the demand we see, we will determine if this route is a viable option to consider as our fleet grows."
Service from Prince George to Las Vegas will operate as follows. One way fares for this service are available from $139.
