Metrolink partners with JetBlue Airways †JetBlue passengers ride Metrolink free

Metrolink and jetBlue Airways have announced that jetBlue passengers departing from and arriving at the Burbank Bob Hope Airport may ride free of charge on Metrolink on the day of their flight.

Passengers just need to present a printed jetBlue boarding pass or printed jetBlue e-mail confirmation to the fare enforcement officer or conductor before boarding a Metrolink train. It cannot be displayed on cell phones. This offer is valid for one ride on the day of travel only and is available for the rest of 2011.

Both Metrolink and jetBlue hope that the offer will help passengers save money and promote using public transit to the Airport. The Burbank Bob Hope Airport Train Station is located directly across the street and in walking distance to the terminal. A free shuttle ride from the train station to the terminal is available upon request by using the courtesy telephone. For a free shuttle ride from the Airport to the train station, passengers can take a Lot D shuttle bus, located at the shuttle island in front of the Airport terminal.
