airberlin starts flying to Costa Rica as of Nov-2011

An aircraft will leave Düsseldorf every other Saturday for Liberia, the capital city of the province of Guanacaste in the northwest of the country. From there, travellers can reach the Pacific coastline or various national parks in the country's interior.

In the winter flight schedule, an Airbus 330-200 will leave Düsseldorf every other Saturday for Liberia via Cancun in Mexico starting on 12 November. Connecting flights are available from Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich.
