Nasair adds special value travel and tourism industry in terms of Hajj, Umrah, Eid Every year, the number of religious tourists that visit the Kingdom and surrounding region grows exponentially. In 2010, it was estimated that 7.8 million tourists flew into Saudi Arabia, and it was projected that this number is likely to rise to 13.75 million by 2019.
To showcase the special value it adds to the travel and tourism industry in terms of Hajj, Umrah, Eid and other travel needs, Nasair is participating in the 18th Annual Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, the Middle East's largest and most important trade and consumer travel exhibition. Nasair will have a stand at the event which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 2-5 2011.
Turki Abdullah Al Jawini, Director of Sales comments, "Nasair is proud to be an airline that truly understands the needs of the religious tourist. We recognize that our passengers want to plan their trips in advance to take advantage of our 'book early and pay less' model. Flights are an expense that is of major concern to religious tourists, especially with the rising costs of completing the pilgrimage."
Mr. Al Jawini also underscores that in response to the needs of religious tourism, and the needs of all passengers travelling to, from and within Saudi Arabia, Nasair will be redesigning its online offerings and capabilities and remains committed to its strong promotions, revamped social media and has advanced a new route map attractive to both the international and Domestic flyer.
Since its launch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2007, Nasair's young fleet now operates 21 international destinations, carrying passengers on over 450 flights a week to domestic, regional and international destinations; Turkey being the latest addition to Nasair's new route map.
Flights representing over half a million of the airline's lowest fares through to October 2011 can now easily be booked on flynas.com, a special advantage for the religious tourist and domestic or international traveller alike.
Simon Stewart, the newly-appointed CEO says, "We believe that the ATM is an excellent forum for us to reach our consumers and our peers. We are proud to be a part of such an important event and have the opportunity to showcase our commitment to being the smart choice for passengers in the region and internationally. Our presence here is simply a reflection of the dedication our entire team shows to offering our consumers smart services at lower prices."
