AVIANOVA: Low-cost has no borders The borders are not subject to the low-cost revolution - AVIANOVA starts its expansion in the CIS markets, keeping branded 250 rubles fares even on the international flights.
The flights to the capital of the Crimea will be operated 4 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The first flight from Moscow to Simferopol will be operated June 15, 2011.
The Crimea along with the Black Sea resorts of the Krasnodar region is traditionally a favorite holiday destination for all Russian people. Amazing beauties of Yalta, Feodosia, Koktebel, health resorts of Saki and Eupatoria and the main event for the young people - Kazantip Festival - attracts millions of tourists who prefer to spend their vacation on the Black sea at the most affordable prices.
In 2010 the Crimea resorts visited more than 5 million tourists from Russia and CIS. In 2011 the increase in tourist flow to the peninsula is expected by 15%. AVIANOVA strives to contribute to the development of tourist relations between Russia and the Crimea and in the summer season of 2011 is planning to carry thousands of people on Moscow-Simferopol direction.
“In 2010 more than a million Russian tourists spent their vacation on the Crimea resorts. Most of them had to travel by train losing more than a day of their vacation because of the inflated air fares, - says Andrew Pyne, AVIANOVA CEO - We strive to meet the demand and needs of our passengers, offering our ultra-low 250 rubles fares to the most popular destinations - the Crimea, is certainly one of those routes. Opening flights on Moscow-Simferopol direction we give every citizen of Russia a good opportunity to find themselves on the Crimean beaches as well as citizens of Ukraine to see the wonders of Russian capital within just a few hours traveling one of the fastest and most reliable transport at the fares comparable with the cost of a train ticket”.
