WestJet releases 2010 International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) information

Effective January 1, 2011, WestJet will begin reporting its financial results in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and as such has prepared 2010 comparative figures, re-stated in accordance with IFRS.

This transition information can be found in the Media and Investor Relations section of www.westjet.com or WestJet's SEDAR profile at www.sedar.com.

WestJet will hold a transition to IFRS information session on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 9 a.m. MDT (11 a.m. EDT). Robert Palmer, Vice-President, Controller, and Hugh Harley, Director, Investor Relations, will host the information session.
