airberlin: Additional connections from Saarbrucken
For summer 2011, Germany's second largest airline is increasing the number of flights running to and from Saarbrucken.

From May, there will be an additional connection from Saarbrucken to Berlin on Mondays to Fridays and Sundays. The new flight not only opens up new connections to the Scandinavian cities Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Gothenburg, it also permits quicker connecting flights through Berlin-Tegel. For Sundays, the new destination on the schedule will be the Italian city of Bari.

From Monday to Friday, the departure time from Saarbrucken will be 10:50, arriving in Berlin at 12:00. The flights from Berlin will depart at 17:10, landing in Saarbrucken at 18:30. On Sundays, the flight will depart from Saarbrucken at 17:10, to land in Berlin at 18:20. The flight from Berlin leaves at virtually the same time, at 17:25, arriving in Saarbrucken at 18:45.

Another new scheduled flight starting from May is an additional connection to Palma de Mallorca every Wednesday and Thursday from Saarbrucken. The scheduled departure time for both days is 12:05 from Saarbrucken to land in Mallorca at 14:05. The return flights depart from Mallorca at 09:20, landing in Saarbrucken at 11.20.

The new airberlin connections to and from Saarbrucken can be reserved right now either online (at airberlin.com), by phone with the 24/7 airberlin Service Center (tel.: 01805 737 800, calls cost € 0.14 per min. from a land line, max. € 0.42 per min. from a mobile) or through a travel agent.
