Stewart Adams appointed as new Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore
The Board of Tiger Airways Holdings Limited has appointed Stewart Adams as the new Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore.

Stewart will take over the role from Rosalynn Tay in January 2011.

Stewart comes to Tiger Airways with 34 years of aviation experience, most recently as the Managing Director of UK regional airline, bmi Regional.

Stewart has managed the profitable growth of bmi regional into an extensive European network and consistently achieved the UK's highest punctuality records.

Tony Davis, Group CEO and President of Tiger Airways said, "We are delighted to be welcoming Stewart to Tiger Airways at an important stage in the airline's growth. We are committed to significantly expanding our operations from Singapore and Stewart will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to ensuring that Tiger Airways Singapore operates with both the lowest cost base and the highest levels of reliability and punctuality. I would also like to thank Rosalynn for her invaluable contributions to Tiger Airways over the past 5 years. Rosalynn has led Tiger Airways Singapore to become Singapore’s biggest low cost airline, and to deliver profits for the past three financial years. We wish her every success in her future endeavours as she pursues opportunities outside of the Group.
