Flybe (BE/267) has joined ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on October 11, 2010 (PED 10/17/10).
In operation since 1979 with headquarters in Exeter, UK, Flybe offers 206 routes in 13 countries, with a total of 70 departure points. Flybe operates from 38 UK and 32 European Airports including Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Belfast, Birmingham, Brussels, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Geneva, Glasgow, Hamburg, Isle of Man, London, Manchester, Milan, Nice, Paris, Salzburg and Southampton.
Flybe operates a fleet of Bombadier Dash 8 Q400s and Embraer 195s, and is displayed in Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo. Flybe accepts e-ticketing in all of these GDSs.
Flybe has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Flybe unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. Currently, Flybe accepts Cash Only as a form of payment. However, effective PED 10/24/10, Flybe will accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, UATP as valid forms of payment.
