Frontier Airlines connects Hartford and Milwaukee

Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), is pleased to announce that its first flight is expected to depart from Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) at 11:35 a.m. EDT today, kicking off the carrier’s new nonstop service to Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE).
The twice-daily roundtrip service is the only nonstop access between the two destinations.
“Providing the Hartford community with its only nonstop service to Milwaukee will add some much needed convenience and great value for business and leisure travelers alike,” said Daniel Shurz, vice president of strategy and planning. “With twice-daily roundtrip flights, the Hartford community can now enjoy nonstop access to our Milwaukee hub, with connections to more than 70 destinations across the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica.”

An introductory fare of $89 each way is available for purchase until Nov. 27, 2010, for travel through Feb. 9, 2011, for travel Monday-Saturday (except for holiday blackouts) with 14-day advance purchase.
