Spirit Airlines to add new non-stop service Chicago †Las Vegas and Chicago †Atlantic City
Spirit Airlines today announced that the ultra low cost carrier is expanding its domestic network and will begin operating new non-stop service between Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and Las Vegas on November 11, 2010, and new non-stop service between Chicago O’Hare and Atlantic City on March 3, 2011.

To celebrate, Spirit is offering $9 and $39 introductory fares* (each way based on round-trip purchase) today and tomorrow only at www.spiritair.com.

“Whether you’re looking for a leisure getaway, casino gaming or an exciting convention destination, Spirit’s ultra low fares will soon take you from Chicago to the Boardwalk in Atlantic City or the Strip in Las Vegas in addition to the many exciting getaways we already offer throughout the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America,” said Mark Kopczak, Spirit’s Senior Director Market Planning.

"We are ready to welcome mid-Westerners who will be able to easily and affordably get to Atlantic City, one of the country's premiere entertainment and recreational destinations," said Bart R. Mueller for the Atlantic City International Airport.

“Spirit Airlines continues to raise the bar on the convenience and accessibility of travel to Atlantic City by increasing its non-stop routes from the great city of Chicago,” says Jennifer Weissman, Regional Vice President, Harrah’s Entertainment. “Atlantic City became the iconic destination it is, through visits from diverse individuals from various U.S. destinations and our successful partnership with Spirit helps keep that true to date by expanding tourism to the Midwest and beyond.”

“Las Vegas is a worldwide attraction that provides our airline partners a popular and successful destination for both leisure and business travel,” said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “We are pleased to partner with Spirit Airlines to offer value and convenience to visitors with this new non-stop service.”
