AirTran to Inaugurate nonstop service between Grand Rapids and Fort Myers

The Lee County Port Authority is pleased to announce that AirTran Airways will start nonstop weekend service between Fort Myers and Grand Rapids, Mich. on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

The flights between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) will depart Fort Myers at 11:08 a.m. and arrive at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

This is the first time RSW will have nonstop scheduled service to Grand Rapids. AirTran is the second largest carrier at Southwest Florida International.
