Ryanair’s Malta base opens today
Ryanair, the World’s favourite airline, today (18th May) opened its 42nd base at Malta with one based aircraft and 19 routes which will increase Ryanair’s traffic at Malta to 800,000 passengers p.a. and sustain 800 jobs at Malta Airport.

Ryanair celebrated this new base and 19 routes by releasing 1m €10 seats for travel across its European network in June which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until Thursday midnight (20th May).

Speaking in Malta today, Ryanair’s Luis Fernandez said:

“Ryanair is delighted to open its Malta base which will deliver 800,000 passengers p.a. and sustain 800 local jobs on the island. With 19 low fare routes to/from Malta this summer Maltese consumers and visitors can beat the recession by choosing Ryanair’s lowest fares and our no fuel surcharge guarantee on exciting destinations all over Europe including France, Germany, Italy and the UK.

To celebrate the opening of our Malta base we are releasing 1m €10 seats for travel in June on over 500 Ryanair routes throughout Europe.”
