JetBlue to enter the 'Gateway to New England' with new service at Bradley International Airport
JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) today is pleased to expand its award-winning, low-fare service and preferred product to the Gateway to New England with new service at Hartford, Connecticut's Bradley International Airport (BDL).

Effective November 17, 2010, the value carrier will launch twice daily nonstop service from BDL to both Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). Book sale flights as low as $69 (a) each way today through Friday, April 30 at www.jetblue.com for travel between November 30 and December 15, 2010.

"Connecticut has been vital to JetBlue's success over the past decade, where our Darien financial support center opened in 2000, and where the state's largest employer and one of our valued business partners, Pratt & Whitney, is based," said Dave Barger, CEO of JetBlue Airways. "We welcome the Hartford community onboard for JetBlue's high-quality, value-oriented service between the Gateway of New England and Florida's sunny resorts, parks and beaches. Additionally, Connecticut customers will also have the option to conveniently connect in Florida to other destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico, extending their relevant JetBlue route network to even more exciting getaways!"

"This is a big win for all of us - our travelers, our business partners and Connecticut's economy," said Governor M. Jodi Rell. "Our citizens tell us they want more travel options and JetBlue is just the partner to help us do just that. More and more, Bradley is leading the way in creating the solutions our customers demand."

"JetBlue and Bradley make a strong team even stronger," said Connecticut Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie. "The partnership we have forged in bringing this together will benefit our customers and our state for years to come. We couldn't be happier with this news."

"It gives me great pleasure to welcome JetBlue Airways on behalf of the Bradley International Airport community, our air service market and the State of Connecticut," said Eric N. Waldron, Airport Administrator of Bradley International Airport. "For many years, the public has been asking, 'When is JetBlue coming to Bradley?' As of November, that will become a reality!"

Bradley is New England's second-largest airport, and will be JetBlue's 63rd destination and its first destination in Connecticut. The carrier also serves the region in Burlington, Vt.; Portland, Maine; and Boston, where JetBlue is the largest carrier and serves 34 nonstop destinations.
