5% share in Vueling acquired by Atalaya Inversiones
Veuling announced Atalaya Inversiones has acquired 747,615 shares in the carrier, representing a 5% shareholding.

The investment vehicle has acquired the stake as a medium/long term financial investment, in keeping with the investment strategy that Atalaya has followed with other publicly-listed Spanish companies since its inception in 2000.

The stake was acquired as part of the “accelerated bookbuilding” of 20.97% of the airline’s stocks. The bookbuilding was conducted by Goldman Sachs International on 06-Jun-07.

With this new investor, Veuling’s core shareholders are as follows:

INversiones Hemisferio (Lara family) – 15.9%
Founders and Vueling management team – 11.1%
Vueling American Investors – (Dave Barger, Presidente de Jet Blue) – 3.8%
Tresury stock – 1.5%
Atalaya Inversiones – 5%
Free float – 62.7%
